The results are displayed on the two-color OLED display as a bar graph or as a waveform. Six different displays and a five-step brightness setting allow for individual user presentation. A pulse oximeter is also very useful for athletes for controlling and monitoring training in endurance sports: There is no need to look for an artery immediately after finishing an endurance exercise. The pulse oximeter shows the heart rate within seconds of placing it on a finger.
